  9.        BACKGROUND
  10.        
  11.        The Stacker interceptor redirects DOS compression-related
  12.        commands to their Stacker equivalents.  It is not effective with
  13.        Invisible Net 30.
  14.        
  15.        SOLUTION
  16.        
  17.        Disable the Stacker interceptor with the /I- switch.
  18.        
  19.        Modify your STACKER.INI file
  20.        
  21.         1. Insert Stacker Disk 1 into drive A or B.
  22.         2. Change to the floppy disk drive by typing A: (or B:) and
  23.            pressing <Enter>.
  24.         3. From the DOS prompt, type STACKER and press <Enter>.
  25.         4. Note the drive letter of the uncompressed drive which is
  26.            exchanged with C (your boot drive).  The drive letter is
  27.            displayed in the far right column.
  28.         5. From the DOS prompt, type
  29.        
  30.                 \TOOLS\STACINI drive:
  31.        
  32.            where drive: is the letter of the uncompressed drive.
  33.         6. Add the switch
  34.

  37.         7. Press Ctrl+Z to save the file.
  38.         8. Restart your computer.

  40.        Use the Stacker commands when needed.  For example, use SDEFRAG
  41.        rather than DEFRAG to optimize a Stacker drive.
